There are many more things to see in the Country Music Hall of Fame and it is only minutes from some of the other famous attractions as well. Starting in 1967 all the plaques of the honorees was brought to the Country Music Hall of Fame. Prior to this time, they were in the Tennessee State Museum. In May of 2001, a new $37 million Country Music Hall of Fame was built and it now has the Hall of Fame Rotunda. This is where all the bronze plaques are displayed for generations to come to enjoy along with everything else the museum has to offer.
