Nashville Film Festival







Founded in 1969, Nashville Film Festival was formerly known as Nashville Independent Film Festival. Nashville Film Festival is supposedly one of America’s longest running film festivals and accommodates 15,000 and more people each year. The festival is a week-long event that celebrates mostly independent films. This film festival has become the arts event in Tennessee. Organized by Regal Cinemas 16 located in Nashville's Green Hills area, it attracts entries not only locally but from all over the world and from all genres. This festival is a really eclectic event that usually introduces the audiences to some grand experimental works. Some parts of the festival are dedicated to films with a musical theme. Some parts are for the film lovers, the music in films and local film making. All visitors can join in a variety of workshops, discussion forums and after-show parties The Nashville Film Festival ends with an awards ceremony and closing night gala.
