Centennial Park

The Centennial Park is considered to be one of the very large parks in the US. It has an area of approximately 132 acres. Located at the west side of the city, Nashville's downtown skyline can be seen and enjoyed from inside the park. Here in this park features variety of statues and monuments, duck ponds and beautiful and big landscapes. The park is the home of the 1897 Tennessee Centennial exhibition and today, it also features spacious, abundant greenery decorated with beautiful flowers and trees.

The utmost attraction here is The Parthenon replica. It is one of the biggest Nashville TN attractions the park is proud to have. The Parthenon is built in full scale and beside it is a gigantic, well-maintained lawn allowing visitors to take amazing photos of the view. Aside from that, the structure itself is considered the primary attraction of all in the park and it is very much appreciated by art enthusiasts such as architects, engineers and photographers. Other attractions in the park include a recreation center and a small lake known as Lake Watauga. The Centennial Park has held many festivals, concerts, and other events throughout the year. For everyone’s enjoyment, admission to the park is free.
